Our kiln dried maple is a fantastic wood fuel, sourced from top quality sustainable forests. Our standard crate of kiln dried maple will provide around 140 days of burning on a 5KW wood burning stove, which equates to a full winter’s worth of warmth for a typical household.
Kiln dried wood gives the maximum heat output and the cleanest burn, making it a cost effective option that burns hotter and for longer than seasoned firewood. Our wood is carefully processed and seasoned, before being stacked tightly in crates and placed into kilns to dry thoroughly. Our wood is kiln dried to below 20% moisture content, creating better combustion. This means more heat and less smoke, soot and ash.
